Boyne Country Community Center

Major Donors so far of $500 - $1000 or more

Boyne Country Community Center, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) group founded in 2009 with the goal of opening a community center building in Boyne City. Thanks to the following major donors, our group now owns a two story 60 year old masonry 6,000 sq ft community center building with no debt.  When opened, we hope this building will provide Boyne City teens a safe, fun, supervised environment.  We also envision many adult groups using the building for a variety of uses.

On March 15, 2011, thanks to many community member donations, we were able to completely pay off the $50,000 bank loan provided on January 25, 2011 by Northwestern Bank to purchase the former Masonic building. We now own a debt free building and are determined to open it some day with no debt.  Volunteers have been renovating the building but we still need more money to complete the renovations.  Hopefully these two concerts will raise more money, but we are still seeking one-time donations from community members and businesses to complete the renovations that will make the building handicapped accessible and more energy efficient.  We are building four new handicapped accessible bathrooms and plan to install a $25,000 vertical wheelchair lift in a new rear addition. Our new front entrance will be built this spring.  In addition to donating the $50,000 to purchase the Masonic building, the following donors have  given an additional $45,000 in donations and pledges to help complete the building renovations. We have also had three very successful major fundraiser concerts in the last two years. We are presently looking for more Gold $1,000, Silver $500, and Bronze $250 sponsors for our 2015 concerts.

For a list of building upgrades we plan to finish before we open the building, click here

We plan to stay debt free to ensure our future success, so please consider joining our major donor's list with a one-time tax deductible donation.  We receive no funding from the city, state or federal government.  We are truly a grassroots organization.  New Major Donors will be recognized at both of our 2015 concerts, listed on our website, and listed on the permanent plaque we plan to place in our building's lobby.

Below is a list of the non-indifferent people who are helping build a different world in Boyne City.

We think Peter Marshall (whomever he is) would be very proud of Boyne City.

We would like to thank the following Major Donors who are making this dream a reality!
